Get in touch — demo only
The right place for your question.
Museum enquiries belong with the museum. This page explains the distinction and demonstrates a contact form without sending a message.
Contacting the British Museum
Museum Visitor Guide is an independent editorial demonstration, not a museum department, ticket agent or visitor-services desk. We cannot check bookings, arrange access assistance, recover lost property, make reservations or answer questions on behalf of the museum.
For an enquiry about a real visit, use the official British Museum contact page. For planning information, start with the official visit pages. These external websites require an internet connection and have their own policies.
Try the editorial contact form
The fields below are for demonstrating the interface only. There is no monitored inbox or connected server, and completing the form will not reach an editor. To test it, use fictional details rather than personal information.
All fields are required. Please do not enter payment details, booking references, health information or other sensitive material. Messages must be between 10 and 4,000 characters. See our privacy notice.
A note on corrections
This archive does not provide an active channel for reporting changes or requesting a reply. For decisions about a visit, rely on the museum’s current information rather than a demonstration message. If the site is developed into a live publication, its owner will need to provide genuine contact details and update the privacy information before collecting correspondence.
